POTATO DAYS — Children are a huge part of the fun during Potato Feast Days. At left, Amelia Callnan, 2, dresses as her storybook character Raggedy Ann and helps lead the Doll Parade last Friday through Market Square. Right, Emmalyne Drake uses her basket as headgear while waiting for the potato picking speed challenge game to start last Saturday on the front lawn of Cary Library. Drake took the basket off her head and used it to pick potatoes the old-fashion way — having a bushel of fun. See Page Six for full story and more photographs on Potato Feast Days. |
