ImageThe musical group, Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, is coming to Houlton, for the first time. This well-known quartet has appeared regularly on the Gaither Homecoming video series. This event will be hosted by Greater Houlton Christian Academy, and will be held at the John Millar Civic Center on Thursday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Ernie Haase, well-known for his pure tenor voice, began his early career singing the tenor part for the legendary “Cathedral Quartet.” This concert tour, billed as “The Cathedrals Influenced Tour,” will feature Haase and his group paying special tribute to the “Cathedral Quartet” who set a standard by which all other Southern Gospel groups are measured.  General Admission tickets can be purchased online at www.ghca.com  Reserved Seating tickets can be purchased by calling the Greater Houlton Christian Academy office at 532-0736.

    HOULTON – “Back To Church Sunday,” part of a national movement of churches across America, will be held at Military Street Baptist Church in Houlton, ME at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 12. Everyone is welcome to attend.
    National “Back To Church Sunday” (www.backtochurch .com) is an initiative that seeks to reach the “un-churched” and “de-churched” – people who once attended church, but don’t any more – and invite them to return for a special Sunday.
